this is a really noob question, but where and how would one go about booking a day at the tracks if one did not know how to do so?....for science, obviously..

lol, i have done a CSS level 1 day and averaged about 2:15:30 around SMSP, do you guys recommend White group or yellow? i read the White group description, and it seems to be for fresh riders to the track. I'm wondering if Yellow would be more my group, happy to stand corrected however.

When I started track riding 8 months ago, (25yrs road riding experience) I was running in yellow doing about 2.00, usually up in the top 5 or so fastest. With stay upright they tend to move you up or down if ur slow or fast.

  15. #15
ah ok, so during the day, they may move me up? thats awesome. Also, OP sorry for hijacking thread /endNoobery.

You don't do things by half..... we don't see you for 9 months, and then you do a week at the track!! This is a pattern for you, Rick. What do you do the rest of the time?? I'd go nuts without riding for so long.

Yeah its frustrating. I have been trying to book using my ARDC membership discount. You have to ring Stay upright, then email them your details. They then ring ARDC to confirm your a member and entitled. Then email you, asking you to call them to book. Been trying to ring for about 3 days now with no answer.
Also spoke to them about if they are doing something like the Mega Rider Rewards and was told no that wont be happening.

I think the more people ask this question the better chance it has of happening.

Means I'll be allocating my track money to other things a little bit more.

Both Wakefield and Phillip Island will see me more in 2016 because of this.

I always thought it was weird that they offered it at all. It's like the on-site cafe at my old work.... there's nowhere else within 2kms to buy a coffee, but still they used '10th coffee free' loyalty cards!! I'm always gonna ride the Creek as often as I can. Only Phillip Island comes close to the Creek, and that's a 12 hour drive away.

Funny thing is with those points thingys is it was a state secret unless you chased it up.(In my case anyways).May have just been me but mine never showed up online when i was booking,i wasnt aware of them at first, then when i found out i was entitled to them i had to chase them up over the phone.
Now they are out of the creek ive received two emails inviting me to ride Phillip Island (i'm in NSW)using my MEGA whatsies
