Thread: January 2nd & 3rd

    January 2nd & 3rd

I just booked both days. Anyone else in? The days were 'fully booked' for ages on the SU website (I've been doing the 'refresh page' thing for ages, trying to get a spot). But it looks like they were just handling switching from the 9-10 days (which are still listed as available to book on the website, btw), and now the days are fully open and all groups are available. Book now to avoid disappointment!

I'm very keen for lots of track time before St George

    I'll be away,
but re Jan days, is the ardc practice before a st George race usually busy? (22nd if reading it correct) if not motoDNA have a south on the 29th I may have to ge some seat time in at. I'm planing on doing the north / south rounds

According to the calendar online, the nearest ARDC PP day is the 1st Feb, so the Monday of the week of St George. Weird. There's a SU track day on the 30th Jan, which I was gonna go to as well. Oh, and the 26th (Australia day).

    But I do like it!

Assuming you meant link, here it is: http://www.sydneymotorsportpark.com.au/calendar/

Soon we should get organised and populate the TT calendar. I dunno about the rest of you but I found it absolutely invaluable last year!

    Bloody iPhones.

Sounds good I went through my outlook today and marked everything I could find. But got the ardc wrong some how it would seem.

    I booked both Sat 2nd & Sun 3rd & Tue 26th as well.

Nick, I know you don't like booking garages for TT. But is there a chance that if you don't you might have to move the bikes to another garage on Sunday if someone else books it?

I'm really liking the carports in this (was) hot weather, better breeze and very little unloading required as van is right there.

Went through five 5kg bags of ice (that's H2O ice not crystal meth) last Sunday to stay cool, worked really well, didn't dehydrate anywhere near as much as Saturday as wasn't sweating so much. Just stuck my head in a big bucket of ice cold water every 10 minutes.

I don't think I will be there, depends on how long I stay down the south coast, if the weather is looking good, I probably won't be able to resist, but it will be last minute. Have fun kids!

Woo late entry. I'll be up there on Saturday on the zx10r. Look forward to seeing you all around the traps. Only booked in med fast as I'll be testing out Dunlops for the first time but hoping to jump up a group a couple of sessions in.

Yea mate no worries. I'm sure it will be slower but it's much easier to jump up groups than to try and drop groups on the day so figured it's better than getting in everyone's way while finding my feet on the new bike.
