Hey in the 80s was mostly on Team Green (Gpz550, GPz600R, KR250) with a bit of Red White and Blue (CB250RS, VF750FD) for giggles - but been 2 valve twins (M600, M620, M696 and a bit of MHe) since BEARS F5 started in 2000 (2 National attendance championships)

If you're on a PC, use Windows Movie Maker (it's installed with Windows) to edit it, and/or just upload it direct to YouTube. Register a free youtube account and upload. It'll take a while, but it's not too hard.

And that's such an impressive lap time!!! Very well done, mate. You dominated BEARS, including conclusively beating the very fast Michael McMillan. Top stuff!

Marshy , Thanks for the kind words mate, you have had a part to play in it with the riding position sugestions although I have a long way to go in that department. How long does it normally take to upload an 8 min video to You Tube ?

Congrats Lee, smashing it!! Glad yo see the Bridgies are doing the trick!

If anybody uses an AIM Solo or DL lap timers, my bro wrote a web app for converting laps to google earth files. (stevem, Leezx10r, Phat3r...anybody else?)
If you export a single lap to .csv with gps position from Race Studio:

File > Data Export In Excel
Then select the lap you want and check "GPS_Latitude" "GPS_Longitude"

    Then upload to http://caffetine.org/csv2kml/
You can call it what you like and pick colour/line width and it'll export to .kml for import to Google Earth.

Pretty useful if you're trying a new line or keen to see when you're turning it etc.

New PB Eastern Creek GP from STG, 1:42.49 compared to my old PB of 1:46.02.

600 clubsport anything around 1:46 seems to be around mid pack of 600 in D grade

Check out Natsoft for race results and lap times from the weekend (and earlier rounds): http://natsoft.com.au/

It's a great resource to browse through your chosen class and get an idea of where you might sit in the grand scheme of things if you started racing. Mostly, people are surprised that the spread of speeds/lap times is so large.... racing isn't all A-graders doing insane laps, but quite a range of speeds, experience and abilities.

    Lap Times

Cool I'll check it out I've only just got a timer, Qatarz cause we're not allowed to time on track days
Had a play with it at CSS and did a 1.54.321
Hopefully get a touch quicker at my next track day without the traffic.

I think I did a personal best over 10 metres at flag point 5 when a red belly black snake slithered right underneath me. Little barstards are quick once they've warmed up.
No...I'm not loving that and I'm not loving that! But I'm loving this!

    Lap Times

What I did today is farking fun.

Cliffy and a couple of guys here as well. Did 43.8 as the quickest time. Not the quickest but my excuse is the first time here. My old tyres are rooted with no more tread.

New tyres tomorrow see how we go

  27. #27
Well done Chubb , enjoy every second of it mate. All the best to you and the guys tomorrow. Arseholes.

1.06.2 at WP on the weekend with EC gearing, a terrible last corner trying to outbrake Zooker up the inside, the front tyre I crashed on back in 2013 and someone's rear take off I picked up at some point in the last 18 months. Hoping for 5s when I'm a little better set up (you know, more stickers on my bike and not forgetting my chair...)

Made the mistake of racing against the wrong people when I overshot T10 trying to pass Kev and came second in my grade. Decided after that to hang in and have a go but not get carried away. Got a couple of 6s chasing Zooker to go for outright race win so was more motivated. Still annoyed I went off at T10 haha so unnecessary.
