I don't know about Yamaha... but when Kawasaki had a recall for the ZX6R they took mine and in with race farings and all, no questions asked.

Ditto with the M/C on my GSXR.

I just had to update the documentation with Suzuki Aus that I was the current owner and the fix hadn't been done yet. ( I gave the new M/C to Bombings, I had an RCS already)
