ok so its just over a month to go which will be here in no time at all , so whos in ?
I enjoyed the north circuit on the sat in Nov to get some practice race starts and settle the nerves a bit so i will be doing the sat north circuit and sun it says full circiut (not sure if it is the gp or full?)
Entering in the 600 and the 600 clubsport .
Cbr 600rr 07 track
And it starts again!
I hope it's the GP circuit as the long circuit takes up too much time getting people on and off as well as the race, which could mean combined classes, fewer laps or cancelled races and needs 8 extra flagies which are a scarce as hens teeth to run that section.....The club won't do it.
Planning on doing unlimited and Unlimited Club sports...which means getting lean and mean.....over Christmas....I don't think so!

Loved north circuit. Looking forward to doing it again.

or who manages to get there blown / damaged bikes back into 1 piece in time
This season seemed to have claimed more than the usual amount of scalps, especially considering I didn't ride! ahahahaha
not sure what the past has brought, but I was talking to an A grader who had an incident in T12 last time outin St george....his comments was to budget for 3-5 crashes per year in your kitty... As far as injuries, well thats just luck in most cases...
Life's too Short- YOLO!
I've always said my usual expectation is 2 crashes per year, although I don't always have that many. But it's hard to budget for - sometimes they cost very, very little, but other times they are quite exxy. But the total cost is usually limited to a maximum of the cost of the bike plus all your gear. That's not accounting for opportunity cost or lost work time etc.

Price increase!!!
Make things cheaper not more expensive please
Could have been a bit nicer with the dates for 600 retro. Why 96?

Jan 83 till dec 96 600cc / 750 twins. What bikes are they actually trying to get in that category?

Wonder if my K1 will make the class before your K3, when they finally extend it into the FI models? I think they are essentially same bike, K1-K3 should be a common block ... but the date ranges are not the same across manufacturers, so wonder how they draw a straight line?
Was the Suzuki K1 the first FI model of any manufacturer ... I could be on a winner, winner ... chicken dinner
I thought they were going to be making it a separate carbied category which I think, prima facie, makes more sense. I'll reserve judgement till I get more info though.
I'm just not entirely sure what bike models they are chasing for this. In terms of 600s there isn't anything till the early 90s with the cbr600s and zx6 kwakas. No suzies, I don't even know if the yzf thundercat was available pre-97 (stand to be corrected on all of the above).
Is it just a ploy to get some of the PCRA boys on pre-modern 600s to come over? If so I don't see the point and I'm extremely disappointed. Those bikes are already catered for and again those turn of the century 600s are left behind.

Ps. Did anyone see the event numbers?
600s, then 600 Clubsport, then 600 Retros bang after each other. Really? Not great news for people running in 600s & clubsport (ie, 75% of the people here).
What the fark!!? I just had a look. I was going to dual enter next year but not even going to consider it now.
I hope it's just a clerical mistake by them, it's not just us, you can race a Daytona 675 in bears and 600cc, all the thousands are grouped. It's like they rearranged it for neatness on the guide rather than practicality. I hope it's a mistake. It kinda sucks entering one class, u pay $500 and end up going out on track 4 times a day.

Its just the event numbers, not the actual program, I highly doubt the format will end up like that. Have a look at the way Novembers one this year was run, will be similar to that
Back to complaining about Retro 600 then haha

I'm not mentally/physically fit enough to do back to back races just yet, but cross entering providing that's a gap of at least 1 race between outings will be fine I reckon. I only entered clubby for the 3 rounds last year just to test the waters and didn't over commit. Now I know how it all works I've seen how it goes so I'm definitely gonna cross enter.
Pity the price for cross entries has increased so much
But it's still the cheapest track time you can buy!!
