Cracking Shot!!!
T8 (old 9) is my nemesis, trying tomorrow to get some sort of line through it.
Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I probably suck at it but I have found that doing the South Circuit really helped me with it as you carry a lot more speed into it than you normally would and then when you do GP again it's like "oh this feels slow"
Don't you turn left before T8 on the south circuit ???
I was Assuming the pic was T5 and Krackeye was mentioning the line through old 9 (T8 for us newbies)

I got this one from the last trackday out there in turn three.

Had a shit load of fun at Laguna Seca on a friends BMW S1000RR. Visor kept fogging all fucking day due to me having a cold. Best lap was a 1.39 something - I was happy with that given it was my first time there on a cold day with damp patches
Corkscrew is hellafun!

What did you think of the Beemer?

haha BMW was fine, i really enjoyed riding it. Seemed to handle very well! I had not a single complaint really. After riding it I was surprised you sold yours!
Great experience. Nice having friends around the world. I take it there's some onboard footage?
Yep ive got onboard footage. The momentum is ruined though because of the noise restrictions which means youve gotta back off at the sound hut or they black flag you and boot you out of the place. Corkscrew is a bit messy, they have had alot of rain. The circuit was damp/drying for most of the day
If I'd spent the time and effort getting it to handle, it'd have been a weapon, I'm sure. Out of the box they are no good, but there's a formula to getting them to be good. I just didn't spend the time, and instead ran back to what I knew.
The ironic thing is that the '15 Aprilia is much more like the Beemer than the old Aprilia. And as mentioned elsewhere, I really really like the old Aprilia. It's just dumb stubbornness and loss-aversion that's making me stick with the '15.

Exactly, and the houses are mega us mansions. Lots of money!!!! You seem them in the hills - they are like massssssiiivveee
Personally I'd find listening to race engines screaming all day incredibly soothing. But I guess not everyone feels the same.
As an aside, I love love love watching motorsport, but I often really struggle to stay awake! Honestly if you had to design a tv show for putting people to sleep, having a constant zoom-zoom of engines revving up and down in a predictable pattern whilst watching brightly coloured objects going round and round in circles, normally shown late at night, I don't know what you could better than F1. Love it, but it's better than a sleeping pill.

I hate to admit it but... you're right! MotoGP still keeps me awake most of the time but even though the racing is usually better on Moto3/2 when I watch them I find myself on the verge of narcolepsy. Even WSBK will send me to bed early if I'm not careful. I wish I could blame that on my age but I've had that ever since I can remember. Which is probably not long considering my Alzheimer's.
I'm glad it's not just me. I thought I was getting old but now I feel much better.
Its not you guys... i get it too. Wake up when the commentators start shouting about something and rewind it on foxtel to see.

Feels good in the wet! Did a lot of work on the rear shock.
Looking forward to a dry day though. The two track days I've been on it has been wet!

What shock have you got in it? Riding PI I suppose any wet riding experience is a plus, no??
Just revalved and reworked the standard shock. As good as an Ohlins one without the bling.
