I reckon if you're in red group and not being an obstacle, you'll have no trouble on a ARDC day. Much like on track days, there are fast days and slow days anyway.

Hmmm might be a few mths off for me then.I hold my own in green not sure about red. I just soor that Adien wagner was there today, don't think I should be on track with guys of his level just yet. Might have to pop out and spectate in April

I worked at Madaz virtually every TD for just over a year. I know the score.

Top day today, great seeing the back of them new R1 for a few corners they sound great!

Got to have a ride on some Italian exotica, pin point handling, sounds tits also.

New PB on big silly track 2:08.46 not sure if that's good or not!

Also had some of the pros give me some tips on the springy bits with screws, really smoothed the bike out! Thanks again.

You're welcome. And thanks for the ride on the 10. I can FINALLY say I've ridden one. Quite an impressive bit of kit. Very easy to ride, lots of power, and it handled a lot better than I was expecting (although I came in with a longish list of settings changes to do). I can see why they are the Jap bike to be on. Good all-rounder, at a good price. Except the brakes, which were pretty ordinary, especially after the Aprilia.

Haha, I was more worried the brakes on the "classic" may fail again as they did down into the new hairpin on me

The brakes on the classic are worth more than most ride day bikes , they aint gunna fail ,
on the other hand the brakes on your 2014 model are crap and have been crap since 2004 on all ZX10Rs
    hence

RCS is gunna make it better but still will never be anygood ,

I'm still ok for now (I've always had, like, 20/10 or better), but I've just started to notice a slight decline. Another 5 years, probably.

I don't want to switch. Will be unfortunate to go backwards.

The only rule is no carbon wheels (or forced induction).

Good question..... Partly because it was an afterthought, and partly because (from memory) the FOZ rules just say "no carbon wheels". The forced induction thing is elsewhere, but I just remembered after, and technically it's still a restriction.

Yeah, that sounds more like the right lingo.

But the kawi can't be forced AND normally/naturally aspirated. It's one or the other. Ram air is still considered naturally aspirated, because it doesn't use a mechanical compressor. It's still atmospheric, albeit moving at high speed and with whatever pressure it can build up while moving.

Or we could just protest every ZX10 out there for breaking the rules!!

Bit of footage from my end of the day. Forgot to record the last session of the day since we got rushed out with the session switch after the oil incident. Annoying since it was where I was finally starting to feel more comfortable and had Steve show me some of his lines, even if it damn near killed me doing those extra laps .
I seem to have lost something the last 3 track days. I was making really good improvements every time I went out and I seem to have taken a step back. I think Friday I took half a step forward again but I'm not back to where I was. I know its 99% mental, just gotta figure out how to break through it.
I'm thinking I'm tipping in and apexing to early in to old 9/15 which is affecting my drive out of it. Also I have to start getting in to 4th gear instead of just hitting the limiter in 3rd before T10/T16 :S
