If you're overloading your inside knee, nothing will last too long....
if you're just touching down as a feeler, your sliders should last a while.
I use Wiz, they slide well and last if you don't overload them.
Hey what brand knee slider are the longest lasting? Did a track day today on the south circut today and went through two left hand ones.
1st was Gimoto 2nd a kange.
Cheers

Woodcraft KluckyPucks, especially the 'endurance/rain' model. I've got them on my suit, and I think they are gonna last longer than my riding career!! Kurveygirl sells them.

Keep reminding yourself that your knee is not a third wheel!! Too much weight on it is bad for all kinds of reasons. Try to concentrate on loading the pegs (preferably the outside one, but both is ok too), rather than the knee. Also, take your 'hanging' bodyweight on the knee locked into the side of the tank, so there's less hanging down on the sliding knee.

Any tips on body position From you seasoned racers?
Fyi that's pete Goddard trailing he was my instructed for the day. A wealth of knowledge, my lines improved all day.but spewing my Qzstar only lasted one session did a 104 (south circut) 3rd session out but I reccon by the 5th I would have improved a tone on that.
That was until I over took a motard approaching turn 2 and ended up in the kitty litter...

It's fine. Everyone is too worried how they will look in the pics. Let's be honest too.
As long as you have control over the motorcycle inputs then I say don't worry.
Unless you want some cool elbow pics for facebook ...
Looking good mate
Your position is perfect, right up to your mid-spine/tummy area. Then you're slightly 'crossed up', where you're leaning your upper body back the other way. Try to work on bringing your upper body down and forward, into the turn. Try to have your outside forearm on the tank, as you lean your upper body into the turn.
How did the fairings survive the off?
