What he said. I can't even make it down to watch this year.

Hope everyone has a good weekend and stays upright. At least there won't be a ZX10 exploding oil all over the track this year.

Any number with a minus in front of it shouldn't refer to temperature. It's just wrong.

I strongly suspect that, instead of being refunded, my entire entry fee will be used to buy Belgian chocolates and fine wines for Jan the committee. And you know what? Even I reckon that's justified.

    Lucky!

I've been regretting putting in my entry since I did it.

The snow just makes me regret it even more.......it is dumping here at the moment and has been for a couple hours now.

good luck to all those racing this weekend, looks like being a tad cold as usual, hope you all do PBs and stay safe.

I'm the wrong man to answer that one. I may live 12mins away but I've only done 1 & 1/2 days there.

But to answer your question, I'll be running a tyre that I don't like in a size that I don't like just to get rid of it.

Not putting much effort in tomorrow. Been sick for a while and been off the bike for too long. Aiming to qualify last place and chop through a few at the back just to get me ready for Broady next weekend.

    See y'all in the morning.

+1 to this. That is the way the weather works.
When i woke up to head out to the track a couple of weeks ago down here it was -6 and it was a great day on track.
Mind you, i wish this wind would piss off, it chills.
BTW, Cliffy.... HTFU, see you in a few

Wicked fun day once the weather warmed up a bit.

Btw does anyone know where the timing is being kept?? Can't find anything on natsoft or mylaps

  39. #89
Hand-written notes and carrier pigeons? It is St George at Wakefield after all. Timing has never worked down there for StG. Particularly the 4 hour weekend.

Oh, and progress updates would be most welcome, for all us mugs that didn't make it down. I've been ringing around, but I'm still starved for info! Who's doing what, finishing where, lap times, track conditions etc etc.

Track conditions were awesome for a winter WP. Got good grip even off the race line.

I was battling with Mick J and Abie Wheeler for most of the day between CS600 and 600.

Finished 1st and 2nd outright swapping between the above mentioned. And some photo finishes too!!

Awesome shot by the one and only Phillip Veneris

  42. #92
First qually was outrageously terrible for me, being organised late and the warmers triping out every 3 sec the tyres wer only up to 30 degrees I quallied a useless 117.... I managed to get that down to a 107.6 by the end of the day

    Warmers came good after quallies

Chubb was in the 103's yesterday, he came first a couple of times, i watched from pit wall 1 race and he really looked proper quick....like proper quick

Marty won a trophie hanging around the 07's all day, had stern words with a bloke that braked hard after the chequred flag that almost didnt end so well

Cam was around the 07's all day too he also won a trophie

And my day was just shit fight, lets see what today brings

  43. #93
That's just unreal fellas!! Well done to all

So your bike was fast, chubb? You're officially faster than me on an R6 at Wakey now. Top stuff mate - you're gonna be a force to be reckoned with in ASBK next year!

Haha Shippy you talk me up!!

Low 4s haven't done the 3s yet. Very very close to though!! Mick J hit a 3.98

Edit and I got told off by Jan for being in C grade. I was like how is it my fault??? Lol and she said I'm definitely B next year. No more C for me...

    I also did ok
    2nd in Unlimited
1st in Clubsport due to a ridiculous decision about a complete restart after a 4th lap red flag

Also team Bridgestone Boys "us" won the 4hr to-day :-)

Congrats to all that competed and also to those that took home a trinket.
Was a great day out and minimal crashes. 2 safety cars and introduction of trying to pick up the leader with the pace car by letting riders through until the leader was picked up – Big plus for this!!!
