Slipper Clutch in steam driven k3 600

Has anyone heard about people retro fitting a k6/7 600 slipper clutch into a k3 600? I've seen a few suggestions of it on the #internet but no threads on actually doing it.

I've found them for not much more than $100 and thought it could be a pretty handy trick.

(In before BUY A R6 haha)

Buy a ZX6. Solves all the problems.

I wouldn't bother with retrofitting an OEM slipper they never seem to work very well. Watch on eBay you might be able to find a used stm/Hinson etc going cheap

Or don't spend a gazillion dollars on an old banger that you're not planning on keeping anyway

    Buy an R6.

If I could get it in for $200 I'd consider that money well spent. Looks like they don't bolt in anyway as basket sizes are different.

Going to hold onto it for next season then will get a R6 or ZX6 for 2016. Track fund starts now!
