To me the idea of supplying a marshal is to give something back, help out the sport.

You'll get a bunch of paperwork in the mail a few days prior to the event. And at the same time an entry list will go up on the club website (and normally a TT member will spot it and let everyone know on here), and only then if you aren't listed do you need to worry.
