Yamaha R6 - full YEC ex-Yamaha supersport 2008 (Clubsport weapon!)

2008 Yamaha R6, ex Yamaha Australia factory bike (Christian Casella's bike when he was Kevvie Curtain's team-mate). Stamped with YRD numbers etc.

YEC bits: cams (mild), valve springs, velocity stacks, head gasket, ECU, race harness etc.

Ohlins rear (the good, conventional, type) set up by Shock Treatment. GP Suspension front 25mm cartridges, set up by Zeno. The suspension is unreal! Fully sorted.

Full Akropovic system. PC3 (not really needed due to the YEC ECU doing mapping, but there anyway). Annitori quickshifter, new clip-ons, Motion-Pro quick throttle (with different cams).

New rearsets, aftermarket tripleclamps, air filter, 520 RK TRU chain (uber-light), spare gearing, quick-release fuel cap, manual fan switch, braided lines, carbon fibre frame and swingarm covers. new GB Racing engine covers, Woodcraft shark fin.

The motor was refreshed recently with almost no kms put on the bike since then. I got it dynoed recently and it made 120.4hp, but this was with the rear brake lightly dragging!! And it was badly in need of a fuel map, so it will make more power than this (and more midrange too).

I spent more than $1k fixing the little niggles this bike needed, and it's ready to dominate Clubsport 600. The compliance plate and VIN etc were rigorously examined by St George at the round in Feb, and it's fully compliant with Clubsport rules.

It's not over-tuned, so will be very reliable. Very, very good set of Dunlop slicks fitted (UK front, US rear).
