Same here. My cursor has a mind of its own. Specially when quoting or editing before posting. Sometimes I just give up or not even attempt in the first place.

Any sharp edge must have a minimum of 3mm beading on it, so as not to cut you. That's from memory of the GCRs.

There's a red front Anderson stand at the front wheel that doesn't look like it's holding up the forks; nor does it look needed, because the wheel chock is holding the bike. Just wondered what it's for.

My excuse is that they were two separate posts (possibly one each from two of my many personalities?) and thus in kind of a grey area, but in principle you make a good point and I retract the post that wasn't funny....

Ahh my mistake, someone here put one on recently I'm sure of it. I've had a few issues with mine that's why I was hoping to compare notes with someone else.

Dash works fine..but after chatting with UK techies I need to install rear wheel sensor.
Couldn't be stuffed right now, therefore up for sale if interested.
    $250.00 ono.

    What I did today...

Went to see my sponsors Protech Motorcycles for some dyno fine tuning. Outstanding work and great guys to deal with. Dom the owner is ex PTR and real perfectionist. Notice things like rags on the tie down points. That's Damien and Alex Cudlin's bikes in the background, and their family own a bike shop, so says something.

Highly recommended, and I'm not easy to please

Well the acrylic rattle can booth has been doing a great job of not covering everything else in my lockup with spray dust.
I can't say the same for not covering myself.
One more fairing to rub the primer back on and into the paint job we go....

    The rebuild begins!

I have fitted my danmoto clipons (never buying again)
    Renthals,
    New brake reservoir
    Bled brakes
Bent rearsets into shape until new ones arrive
    And installed a QS
now I only need a fairing stay (ordered) mid pipe (ordered) and a set of slicks and I can go back on track

  37. #237
You didn't consider giving the engine etc a bit of a wash down, so you can check for damage? It's filthy in that first photo!!

Otherwise it's looking great! Often what looks like a total wreck turns out to not be so bad....

    Good work. Keep us updated

Installed one of Marshys Annitori Quick Shifters on the CBR today.Holy cow its like riding an automatic.Flat changes without backing off.Amazing little device.Had to take the side fairings(its a roady) and the airbox off to get to the plug top coils which is always a good patience tester when putting it back together as those bitchy little clips and saddles never go back in the way they came out.Thought i might have been able to get away with getting at it by just removing the airbox but nope.Hooking the QS itself up was the easy part.No wires to cut, plug and play
Big thanks to Nick for supplying on short notice on Friday and for the advice today Cheers mate
