Ok people.... The TT garage for Sunday will be the usual one: 35-38 (or is it 36-39??). Anyway, the triple just past the first set of stairs going up to rego. We won't reserve it officially (last time there were two allocated garages under different names and it was a balls-up), but please all head for there anyway. I'll be first one there as usual, so look for the silver Superbike Source trailer.

Oh, and I've been chatting with Robert Parker, who was taking pics at the track day the other day. He's doing it again this Sunday, and he's gonna try some spots I have suggested. If you want to talk to him/get some pics etc, then look out for him in the TT garage at around 8am.

Coolo's I tried Tim munro (pre-paid) and the photos were pretty low-res a bunch of them out of focus & anything with another rider clearly visible was cut, was soured by the whole experience.

Happy to pay for photos, means more people are out there taking them.

I will be manning the lens on the Saturday @ St George (for free)

It's totally not obvious from the photo (which was timed absolutely perfectly!) but mine came up very quickly, scared the crap outta me, and I slammed the throttle shut which dumped the wheel straight down with a bang. So it was essentially a bunny-hop wheelie rather than some long deliberate thing. The other photo of me with the front wheel a foot up - exactly the same as everyone else - is a normal power wheelie, not an accidental pants-soiling oh-shit-nearly-went-over-backwards moment!

And I'm fairly convinced that the Italians have no idea what they are doing when it comes to wheelie control. It cuts in when you don't want it to, but does nothing when you really need it.

I guess it depends on who's flagging, and probably where you do it. I thought PGM always had trouble out of T9, which is harder to explain than T3 over the hill.

LOL I radioed PGM in before for a little power wheelie out of T5 ;) just cos... made sure he wasn't in serious trouble or anything, just got someone to say no wheelies. Apparently he was going off on one all day until he found out it was me and my sly grin that did it :P
