Quick question:

Which brake pads do you guys recommend between, brembo rc & ferodo cp1 pads?

No road, 100% track for a zx10r.

Cheers

Lee

Vesrah SJRL XX They're not the cheapest but good Lord they're good! But tbh, the stockies from Kawa are not bad either... just that the Vesrah is in a league of its own IMHO. I tried the ferodo before, ok-ish I'd say. Hated the EBCs and for some reason they only lasted me 7 days but lots of ppl love them. Never tried the Brembos.

Never tried the vesrah. On my next to get list.

I'm using the ferodo ones and a lot better initial bite then the stock r6 ones.

Get the Vesrah. Don't waste time with anything else. Make sure they are the SRJLs, not the cheaper RJLs.

That price sounds a tiny bit cheap. KurveyGirl is normally cheapest for Vesrah. Check it out.

Sport bike track gear has em beat for price I've found.
Just looking for the ZX10 the price difference for 2 sets of SRJL-xx on Kurvey girl is 210 on STG it comes to just under 165.

They are the shinizzle!!! Wait until you try them!

Oh, be sure to take your discs off and sand them back with 180 grit. Get all the old pad material off. And don't worry about bedding the new pads in; they don't need any. They stop at virtually 100% from the first brake application.

Yep already sanded, and new pads fitted! So no bedding in at all, just go for it? It does say that on the packet also Marshy

You have them now, but for what it's worth... I use the Brembo carbon ceramic pads... They are monumental! And just when you think you can't go any later, try and oh, you SO can!! :) Very happy, even with the $$$$$$$ price tag. Worth it! Just remember, for all new pads, to rough up your discs first, helps bedding in. :)

Soooo... how were they??? :pop2:

I can't see if STG do the SRJL-17.. The -17 appear to have most initial bite but drop off after that. Kurveygirl have them for $165 (both calipers)...

Often not, but in this case I'm keen to hear how Lee enjoyed the Vesrahs and if the XX variation was a goodun?

Very nice! Was very impressed how quick they bedded in. No harsh bit and good feel, glad I bedded them in on the track as advised by you lot.
