Dunno why you wouldn't want to know the moment something happens on the forum ;)

Seriously though, just click on 'Settings' at the very top right of any page, and then 'General Settings' in the left-hand column, about halfway down. Then choose the default notification for threads (it will currently be 'instantly, by email'). Or you can unsubscribe from any individual thread using the 'Thread Tools' at the top of the thread, on the right.
