Hey guys,

I woke up this morning to see someone had smashed into my bike carrier overnight. Its bent at 30 degree angle on the RHS so even I don't feel safe using it. To replace the parts is gonna cost $500 and I don't plan on using it after the next month or so once I get my vehicle situation sorted.

So anyone got a trailer I can beg/borrow/steal/hire? Need to get to the track 6 times from the 21st of Jan to 2nd of Feb so would be for about 10 days. Would consider buying as well.

Thanks

I have just realised your going to the track 6 times before st george round to get all that practice in .. bugger , maybe we all shouldn't be helping you out as your already fast enough without the practice .

Don't worry Rob, I've been quietly sabotaging his bike when he's not looking to stop it going too fast in his first race meet!!  :bolt: :llama: :becky: :bounce:

Why not go real country ... put the old couch in the back of the ute ... full esky ... tarp over the top and park it at T2. :-)

Sounds like full bathurst set up. Just need a BBQ and a generator to run the TV - if only StG was televised live!

But if I'm at T2, who is going to help you do up your flight cap???

I hate going to the track before a race meet, don't get me wrong I love hitting the track (no punt intended) for some practice but risking the bike before a race is a hairy decision (for me at least)

It's a love/hate relationship.

old humpty dumpty has been through a fair bit, I've spent more fixing it than what I bought it for

I was just telling a mate yesterday how the cheapest part of the whole deal is buying the bike...
