Brand new, professionally painted Superbike Source fairings from a cancelled customer order. They look awesome! The colours are fantastic. There’s a tiny crack in the paint in one spot, hardly noticeable, which could be easily fixed with a touch of glue (circled in one of the photos). There’s no windscreen, although the OEM screen will fit it. Comes with all dzus fasteners: D-ring for the sides and button-head for the undertail, and wellnuts for the windscreen. Also pre-shaped heat shield for the bellypan. amd a pre-cut foam seat.. $800 obo.

Pick up from Lane Cove or can ship to the east coast of Oz for about $60.

I don't get how customers can order things and then just cancel the order.:confused:Don't they pay up front, or at least pay a decent deposit?

It was late being completed, which was our fault - the paint shop stuffed up some of the paintwork and had to redo it, which delayed it beyond the 6 weeks that we normally deliver in. Not that it's a guarantee of 6 weeks (many times it's heaps quicker, but sometimes there are delays if paint cracks etc and has to be redone), but he was busting my balls about it and it was more hassle that it was worth.

It's the one and only time that I've simply refunded the purchase price, but I was actually keen to do so because he was one of those customers that nothing would ever be right - they would be arguing over the fit, the small crack (which was in transit and I didn't know about until it arrived back with me) would've meant a full redo of the fairing, so the paint shade exactly matched etc etc.

Of course, literally 24 hours after I refunded, the fairing arrived!! Looking like a million dollars too, I reckon. I'm really proud of the quality of our paintwork.
