Just looked at my rear tyre and the middle looks like this .. ..should I throw it out or will it be okays noting not on edge ?

Seems my trailer felt like attacking my bike :(

Hoping will just wear down after a few laps ?

No expert but first thoughts are if cuts are not deeper than wear indicators it may be ok.

That's clearly a Dunlop D211. You can tell by the two stripes either side of the middle, dividing up the tyre into its different compounds. If they haven't cut into the belts at all, you should be ok, but I'd be pretty careful on it.

Ouch! Did you load it on when the tyres were still pretty hot? I had two grooves from the ribs in my ute tray from loading it up straight after my last session. In my case they went away after I used them again (probably when the got up to temp on the warmers). Mine had no cuts at all though..

I've learnt to let the bike sit for 10-15 mins before loading it up, I'll load everything else first then do the bike last.

These are Dunlop Ntec KR449 (200's) .. its prob touch and go regarding how deep so i am going to throw them off tonight (lucky have another 5 sets sitting in shed so no real biggy :)

Yeah bike was rested for a bit before i loaded .. but must have not been long enough .. will be making sure this friday those tyres are dead cold and hard again before loading. Might even have to wait to they cool and then put some psi in them prior.
