Anyone used these?

I'm keen to get one as for a start I can turn off the frigging FI light on the suzi. I've gone from an orange one to red.
I've heard the ecu goes into safety mode or some shit when this happens reducing power to 70%.

Dont know how true this is as Im already riding the back brake to keep the front wheel on the ground. Another 30% would be fecking awesome though.:jaw:

It also allows ignition mapping so no need for xTre and a HEAP of other stuff. Pretty sure santa will deliver one to me this year.

Forgot about these. Think a post of yours sent me here at the start of my quest. I was looking at exchange so I don't have down time and though you get $$$ back after sending your own unit in I saw woolich for a few dollars more that would allow custom maps and tweaks. Not so keen to reduce engine braking I use the clutch to control that.

Pretty sure its the pairs setting the light off. Haven't chased fault codes yet. I put my own resistor in place of the air pump but maybe its too heavy or lite. As its not registered testing up and down the street is not the best option. Think I've upset the neighbours enough this year and cop shop is almost around the corner so they are always hovering.

Now that you've jolted the grey matter I might go this way and save some track $$$

there is a seller on ebay that sells the resistors that plug into the loom.

I might have one left over I can bring on Sunday http://stores.ebay.com.au/smartmoto i bought the pair removal unit but haven't done it yet (have the marble mod as a temp fix)

Yeah might have to go that way. Thanks for offering yours but best keep for yourself. I bought the resistors at jaycar 40cents each. (tight ass) Still have a couple of different ones so will try that first.

Andrew I was wondering if in the kit you also got the o2 bypass plug. If so is it possible for you to chuck a multi meter on it to find out the resistance? I'm doing bike night and wont have time to order one but oviously would like full power on the night. Embarrassing if I cant beat my worn out 96 CBR time (10.98) I've read endless articles about this. Some even say to just unplug the o2 sensor. :noidea:

it came with a 02 bypass, but I don't have a functioning multimeter (I shorted mine) and I won't be near the bike until Friday (it lives at mums house).
