When I installed a Motion Pro on one of my old gixxers, I just used an angle grinder (or a dremel) to cut the throttle tube housing part off the OEM switchblock. That way I retained the OEM map switch, and it still looked factory, instead of using a cheap aftermarket switch that they told me to buy. Although I still had to fit clipons, because it wouldn't all fit on the OEM bar.

I did similar when I added my cheapy R1/6 throttle mod 1/6 turn instead of 1/4 for $12 seems like a no brainer to me
