Been using IMA thumb brake for a while, love it not sure how I rode without one for so long, quicker times easy to use a natural feel.
One problem I`m having how do I keep the thumb adjustment screw tight and from unwinding loose ?
Its a little distracting winding it up going down the straight.

Can you drill a tiny hole through it and insert a pin?

Hi Bundy, there is a grub screw in the assembly that prevents it from unwinding.
Have a look from the underneath and you should see it.
If not, send Marshy an email and we’ll show you where it should be, and if needs be, organise a new one.

Used lok tight but the lever is to slow to return to its original position after using it seems to gum up the action of the thumb lever , tried a couple of nuts to lock it in place (pic), at Lakeside on the weekend it worked loose after a few laps !
Not sure if I can drill it !

Don't drill it! Let me get a pic of the part that you need to tweak.

Your correct I found where the grub screw goes, it has either fallen out (cause I haven`t done it up) or I`ve lost it !! either way Marshy is the contact for a new one yes ?

Hey mate, sorry for the late reply! Yes, there's a little grub screw (that I didn't see either the first time I fitted one up). It's not 100% clear on the instructions, until you know what to look for, and then it's obvious, Captain Hindsight ;)

I can replace that for you. Give me a call or email/PM.
