What better way is there to learn more about my current bike than build another one just like it...
It's basically science right?
And plus...

Technically I should be paying Marshy a higher hourly rate when he lets me help! Don't tell him though.

Quick, show Nick something shiny, he quickly forgets the question.
Also, the logic behind your reasoning for a new bike is flawless.
And I checked.

Stop it Kris. That Ktech goodness would probably accidentally and miraculously find its way onto my current bike.[emoji6]

Its ready when you are! :) It has an optional Preloaded piston installed and a longer eyelet, I also have the std eyelet and the original box and pouch. It cost me alot of money but I have no use for it now as I dont have an RSV4

Radiator, front guard, wheel speed sensor, and front wheel. It's now in serious danger of looking like a motorbike.

Nafe, I agree with the love of Aprilias sentiment. Simmo will confirm that I was saying "I just love Aprilias!" every 10 minutes or so during the build. They are beautiful to look at and very easy to work on. They are just put together right!

This particular exhaust was a breeze, so I've conveniently forgotten all the other ones that involved hours of swearing, grazed knuckles, and gnashing of teeth.

Thanks for Vid Marshy.
Side note.
1st attempt to start failed. Substituted tank with successful attempt demonstrating it was a fueling issue. Found fuel pipe was blocked on original. Cleared blockage and problem solved.

Absolutely makes complete rebuild soo much easier if you have a "reference" bike for "where the fuck does this go" and "is this bit rooted" questions

Know what you mean ... unfortunately I'm starting to become the goto guy for 2 valve Monsters ... but did some of the initial build of Franki @ Gowanlochs - but that was a bit scary as I was dropping a 2000 SS900ie motor into a 2006 620 Monster frame - it nearly screwed up as the guy who said he could map the 620 ECU to 904 realized he couldn't ..... thank goodness for Brad (the Bike Boy) in Melbourne - who had don't something like that in the past and had a 904 (open air box / highrise pipes) map for my ECU - LIKE IT WAS MENT TO BE :)

How deep do you need to go ... I've got to do that to Franki because of a flaky wire (tacho flicks and doesn't work without cable tie holding tension on loom) and annoying/dangerous stutter (maybe the same as tacho issue maybe NOT) when accelerating off stop go corners - it about a 5 hour job got to strip down to engine and frame - avoiding and hoping the issue will go away <I'm in a river in Egypt>

Pre QS loom. Back when I was doing APRC conversions regularly, I would've picked it. I've forgotten some of the fine details. No matter, it was done fairly quickly.
