Ok, thanks to those that put their forms in. We're now on for Friday! :thumb:
Anybody that received a call to cancel, should now receive one stating we're back on.
The plan for the future, as they did before Krista left, is to let us know how numbers are tracking at the beginning of the week, so we have time to get the numbers up.
This should also be enough time for us to see what the weather is doing and as ever, they don't charge the fee until it's 100% going ahead.

Can't wait!! :peace:

Footage of Somphot's mishap on Friday - what happens when a newbie does an ARDC day......

Glad he's ok!!! although I'm surprised it hasn't happened sooner, with inexperienced guys looking to get in "cheep" track days.

wasnt there another video on here a little while ago of someone on an r1m having a big crash at turn 1 too? must be too many inexperienced guys at ardc days now

So the guy in front hit the brakes a bit hard at the 200m mark, was that it?? Not sure I could have avoided that contact either if that was the case

I think this is going to start to become a recurring theme!
Might we suggest if rego plates and lights are on the bike, chances are they're not there for a race practice!!

Yep I remember that guy extremely good looking if I recall [emoji6], I lost the front pushing above my abilities. But my lines, however poor were consistent, I think I was doing 47s at my 1st ARDC (43s at the time of that crash) this guy had NEVER even done a track day. He would have been out of place in yellow group at a SU day

He would have been out of place but I don't think he'd ever done a track day.

I had a word with the guys at course control and suggested they only allow race bikes in future, to avoid people who have no experience like this bloke, turning up on their road bikes. They knew this bloke should not have been out there and that it was dangerous, but had no way of excluding him as there's nothing in the regulations to prevent it from happening. They agreed that the problem is only going to get worse now that ride day prices have gone up, so were going to bring it up with the ones that organise the days to see if they could add the bike regulations in the instructions.
