Hi guys
been a while but hey hey..
I was bumped up to B grade, so i sent a heated email back disputing it, this is the response I recived
"Matthew has provided some statistics in relation to the race meetings he entered including his average lap-times and these have been reviewed in light of his objection and we note the following:
1. Our records indicate that he has ridden 4 meetings as a C grader in 2016;
2. The committee’s decision is based on lap-times not finishing position;
3. He quotes B graders at SMP (the creek) as doing 1.35’s and that he is “maxed out at 1.40’s”. The window for B graders on a 600cc at SMP is 1.40 to 1.45, so at 1.40 Matthew is at the top of the B grade range;
4. He quotes B graders at WP as doing 1.03 – 1.04’s, and that he is doing 1.05’s. Again the window for B graders on a 600cc at WP is 1.06 – 1.09, so at 1.05 Matthew is actually A grade for that circuit.
Given the above, the committee stands by its’ decision to re-grade Matthew to B.
It may give some comfort to Matthew to know that we also reviewed lap-times of the B grade ASBK riders at both SMP and WP and they are doing:
SMP – 1.35 to 1.43
WP – 1.01 to 1.09, so he shouldn’t get “smashed”."
