10th/11th August Stay Upright

Who's going to EC this day? It will be my first day back on the track in almost 3 years, on a completely new (to me) bike. So I'll be scooting around probably having a terrible time in yellow group.

I've got about 5 hours riding time in the past 3 years, so I dunno how long it will take me to get booted out of yellow. Are they pretty strict on faster riders being in slower groups? And is it fairly easy to change groups on the day?

Also, how much does a tyre change (or rotation) at the track cost these days?

There are heaps of spots left in every class so it won't be too hard to move up.

Tyre change I don't know how much they are, maybe see marshy for new tyres before the day.

Tyre change, loose wheel, is $15 I think? Rotation, if you mean flip them? Nup, they won't have a bar of it.

Well technically flip them. It's because the front wet tyre I have has been installed backwards... Hahah. I'm sure they will fix that.

Awesome day at the track yesterday. Was good to put faces to names.

Couldn't really ask for better weather.

Thanks heaps marshy for the suspension tips and adjustments, it made an enormous difference, I went from a snails pace to a turtles pace because of it!

Also thanks to Joel for letting me borrow your tools since I forgot to bring most of the tools I would actually need. 👍

My ass looks so good, dont know how you guys dont stay behind me longer, hahahha, i know i am slow but hey. good riding there guys, wolfie carries so much speed through turn 1. All you litre, cant wait to get faster so i can appear in these videos for at least 30 secs instead of 2. hahaha.
