Came across this article on MCN which talks about the cbr 600rr and the new Euro4 noise and emission standards in the uk and Europe coming into effect Jan 2017 .

Yeah, I saw that too. Although it might only be in Europe after the last week of action!
Sounds like they'll keep it elsewhere for now but I totally get it, given the demands there are for technological improvements without the margins to do it.
It's no wonder the R6 for example, hasn't changed in 8 years!

I wonder if they could just make a racing version of the CBR600 that didnt need to comply to ADR's or emission regs. Kind of a CRF450 with slicks and glass fairing.
