Well it's only two weeks to Round 1 of the Pirelli Series at Winton!! So far there are a few of us heading down to mexico for this - Andrew, little Mick and myself. Baddie is a possibility too.

Who else is planning to make the trip?

Series info is here: http://www.rrseries.com.au

Can't make this round. But keen on Phillip island.

The Island will be huge!!

We are just waiting for the Winton entry list to be published - they said sometime over the weekend it should be up. I'm interested to see who's gonna be there. And if anyone is still running superstock...

When do / did entries close? I can run my k3 in pre modern in Vic, which is pretty tempting.

Still open for a while yet. A $50 late entry fee kicks in after today I think - it says Thursday 24th of Feb, but that's obviously a typo. I presume they mean Thursday the 21st, but you could always argue the point!!

I take it you meant the other little Mick Marshy :)?

would love to but will hopefully be running in the august/ sept round at PI

Ah yes, there are two of you! Very confusing. Mick Saliba is the one I meant in this case

My mate ran in this series last year and will be bitchen for me over the weekend, and unfortunately all he has been telling me of late is how many of his group aren't going :-(

Racing in Victoria is just as divisive as it is in NSW between the various promoters, although much cheaper because the promoters are all clubs!

FYI Microscopic mick is keen on PI as well which is great news. Well good luck with the racing guys. Can't wait to hear all about it when you get back.

Work has begun on some needed repairs and fitting new bits I haven't got around to yet. Changed from Superstock to Supersport but still won't be able to catch Nick, at least it gives me something to aim for. Looking forward to this, a weekend away with my mates and racing, it doesn't get any better!

I've been busy prepping as well. I just made up a progressive quick throttle for the racebike. I got the idea from the Graves works item.

Yup. Got here at lunchtime and straight out to SW Racing for little Mick to have his forks refreshed and resprung. I had Stu put in my firmer springs too, seeing as I haven't yet got my tools. Back to our (rather nice, perhaps surprisingly) accommodation in Glenrowan for a beer and chillax. Turner is cooking some gourmet dinner (it has multiple ingredients, so it must be fancy!!)

Great video, you guys went really well. Track looks a bit bumpy in places? Plenty of room for more P5 / P6 bikes, thinking ...
