It was time to start the fitting of the Superbike source fairing I got a couple of weeks ago. This was way better than I had expected. With the help of guru bike mechanic Rick Miller we (he) started the fitment. Anyone who knows me knows I am absolutely useless at this while Rick is an absolute perfectionist. At the end of the first session, thisi is where we (Rick) are up to;

Phillip Island for the St George round. Hopefully it will come back looking the same!

Awesome! You said you weren't gonna fit them prior, so that's exciting news!

They are still available by special request, but no longer for numbies. :thumb:

Did you see the Triumph fairings I'm selling on Faceplant now? They (and one other customer) were the final straw. They are the best looking fairings, but the customer bitterly complained and demanded a full refund because the gold didn't quite match the bike's rims.

Numbie? I had to look that up ... http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=numbie

Those Triumph fairings look awesome ... guess it sums up Triumph owners ... was the other one fairing for a Ducati? :tape2:

You can still sell the plain ones and just not do the custom paint jobs?

Lol. Wasn't quite what I meant, but good definition! I was trying not to say dickheads.

Plain fairings are boring. The paint is the value-add, and mostly the design work I do is the really special bit.

I try not to hate the human race, but they really are a complete pack of cunts.

Mind you, you really dropped the ball on this one Marshy, you should have anticipated the customers complete fuckwitidness and altered the shade. Not angry, just disappointed.

I agree. It's hard not to, when confronted by this.

Serves me right for making them look better than requested. The customer really does know best.

I can't take any of the credit. Marshy did the design work, got the fairings and Rick Miller fitted them up for me. I'm really happy with how it worked out though!

Hopefully I can do the new look justice! I hope to get the chance to sit behind you for more than a few seconds at the practice day so I can learn my way around the place.

I've been known to take a special order or two from TT members ;) If you need some, hit me up.

Now, lets talk motorcycles for a moment, Lawson. What's happening with you?? Clearly you aren't selling yours, so when are you gonna hit the track again?
