Hi all,

I am thinking of making the rather permanent move of selling the R1.

EDIT: now I'm engaged and have a wedding to pay for this is now definitely up for sale

My impending mortgage & the fact my Tib Ant tear isn't healing properly (need that to change gears), means I'm likely to give racing away for the next couple of years.

2008 R1
No Idea on KM's
YEC Loom & ECU
Akra full system
Told 185 RWHP (I believe it)
Ohlins TTX rear and 25MM cartridge front
Ohlins Steering Damper
Brembo RCS
Spare set of rims
Spare wet tyres have run 5 laps, been in plastic since
Pro Fiber fairings
Gear indicator
Manual Fan overide
Spare set of (busted) fairings

previous owner was lapping 1:37's my fat arse could only muster a 1:40 flat (looked better doing it though) :)

Just delete this, Marshy... if I can pay a mortgage and pretend to ride so can he. Also, no body parts hurt when the bike just sits in the garage.

I tend to agree. I'm not sure he'd get enough coin to justify selling such a great bike, and then live with regret and resentment for the next 5 years, only to then buy a bike not as good as this one.

There must be YEC cams and valve springs in there too. It's not stock.

You had me at hello. How much? Just out of curiosity more than anything else?

Bought off the one & only Baddie

fits the bike spare wheels, 3 x toolbox's leathers etc. (basically all my shit).

The rego lapsed in July when I went travelling & I haven't had the time/inclination to sort it out

also on the bike it has a sweet set of anderson stands that use a pin to pick up the bike under the chain adjuster

ta for that

so its an 8x5 (correct me if I'm wrong) with a box (inside the wheels not over)... tempting but was hoping for a bit bigger ie box over wheels - wanting to cram 3 bikes in ... where abouts are you for a look see
