Ducati found dumped VIC plates

Found an older aircooled Duc dumped in grass on my morning cycle ride today.
key barrel looks in tact but could not see wiring harness.
Bars look a bit twisted and bike is covered in mud but looks still ridable with a bit of straightening out.

Sent him a message just as he's picking it up. Believe he found out where it was through the someone reporting it too coppers but he appreciated the effort.

Didn't bother going to the cops, thought would find its owner sooner on the webs.
I know how frustrating it is when your trying to find a stolen bike, they are so easy to hide.
Don't know why anyone would bother stealing a 400cc duc though, probly got bored with it and dumped it.
