Pic doesn't really do it justice, wicked circuit. Jerez may be the best one but Brno is the dirty little secret you'd never tell your mum about. Four Jerez length straights, huge altitude changes and some big long corners where it feels like you have the bike on its ear for aaaaages. You won't believe the speed you can run into turn 1 and still think you could've gone faster by the time the bike slows to the apex.
Here's one I took from the bottom of the circuit as it climbs back up the hill towards the start/finish straight. "wtf's wrong with my bike" steep. Ossom.

Lee and I were talking about this the other day. Would be ace to ship the bikes over and do a massive euro track tour...
Might need sponsorship for that one tho. :peace:

I was at Mugello last year and I must say Brno would be my next circuit of choice.
I think I'm aiming for Laguna 2016 next though.

Awesome! How was Mugello, what did you do for a bike?
I've heard Laguna Seca is awesome too. Thought the only track time available was Superbike School tho?

So, a quick report about this trip.
FUCKING EPIC!
Such a good track. Pretty much every corner is a good one and the hills make it interesting. Facilities good, big garages altho TDO's only get to hire a few. No walls between garages, very soviet, long "hall" like caged effect. Da.
Things started off pretty well for all 4 of us - ironside blade, Neil zx10 and X X. In short,
- The track is epic. Fast sweeping corners, lots of fast esses, great weather.
- ironside had issues with gear selected shaft. This issue got worse. Some macgyvering helped, then broke real good. A hammer may or may not have helped the situation.
- X came off X. totalled. sprained wrist. X is ok.
- my clutch was slipping pretty bad on day two. After some thought and discussion with X we arranged for me to borrow the X clutch.
- Day 2 arvo was spent making a castle nut tool for STM slipper clutch nut with ironsides extremely dangerous angle grinder. Thanks again, but its fucking dangerous!
- Day 3 was X spectating, ironside continuing to solve the issue, somewhat successfully but not officially and ended up taking the ol' cbr for a slow spin, coaching the hopeless.
- Neil the bastard had a trip full of PB's.
[EDIT - We got pretty good at side cover fitting. ]
Some pics to come.

Yeah, quite liking the growing list of cool tracks!
Grinder; again MUCH appreciated Simon..... (and make sure you bring it next time lol)... but since you ask Owen, life threatening to use due to:
- no handle
- no guard
- very slippery casing
- rusty
- power lead has been 'attended to'
- discs are aged and have rough/dangerous edges.
It was ok really, cause I had my safety thongs and safety oakleys on. ;)

Deff still far too Aussie with such safety standards!! A spinning metal disc is all that's required!
